haha, I loved how cheap stuff can be! Reminds me of the time a friend spent several minutes complaining about the price of little bread rolls (szemle) in Hungary going up from 3 forint to 5 forint. When she was done, I said, “You know they’re still costing you less than 2 cents US, right?” =)

Been there! When you start thinking in terms of local currency, it’s super easy to get caught up in a minute price difference. But I do love how cheap things can be. Mind-blowing sometimes!

Wow, that much vodka in one go? An admirable effort! I think I might have thrown up. I thought that container was yogurt at first, haha.

Ha, I think he got halfway on that one and then found a chaser to finish it off later. It was just not good vodka 😉

At first I thought these were pics of a native Kyrgystani. It must have been the muscle t-shirt.

    Cheers,

Hah!! It sure looks like the best 13 cents ever 😛

Trust the Russians to sort out Vodka in a plastic tub like it’s yoghurt or creme fraiche 😛 Good stuff! I couldn’t drink that without a serious grimace, methinks.

To be fair, my boyfriend has a hard time drinking any hard alcohol without making a face. That said, it usually doesn’t look like this 😉

I’m hard pressed to find another use for 13 cents as good as that one.

This is hilarious! Looks like a very good investment and is definitely an authentic cultural experience! 🙂

Ha, awesome stuff! I suppose…maybe…it is possible that there is ‘not good’ vodka out there after seeing this. But I’m still skeptical 😉

If only I had seen this before Hunter Valley… This is THE most amazing photo essay I have ever seen. I also just ordered a bunch of white muscle t’s from amazon after this inspiration. So much awesomeness.

Haha – Pat cannot handle hard alcohol 😉
