Yikes! I’m not an avid bike rider by any means, so if I have any thoughts of doing a bike ride on my big trip, it’ll be in cities that are known for being completely flat! It does sound like there were some highlights to the day, and those “mushroom” rocks are pretty hilarious, so at least it wasn’t a total wash!

Hi Ryan — it was a great trip. Ours was really only a 3 day tour, so we couldn’t deviate that much from traditional routes, but we got a great insight into Turkish culture because of it for sure!

Agreed! Currently in Kashgar and it is a VERY unique place… very untouched by Western world IMO. Few tourists, no English — makes Bishkek look like a Western dream. Hope to share more in the near future
