Day 61: Brain is Dead, So Here’s the Malaysia Itinerary

Day 61: Closing Time

Day 61: Closing Time; I'm Brain Dead

I got the news earlier this week that the flights for the Malaysia trip in May had in fact been booked. So, it’s official. My name is on an itinerary taking me on my very first adventure to Southeast Asia; I don’t think it has really sunk in yet.

Since my brain is completely dead today after two late nights out in a row (I’m getting old?), I decided to share this itinerary — well as much as I know — with you all. And, if you’re going to be in Malaysia in May as well, give me a shout and maybe my boyfriend and I can meet you for a drink. It is a family trip, but we’ll have plenty of free time to explore.

Drumroll please…

May 5th – Leave Sydney
May 6th – Arrive Penang

I believe we’re going to hang out in Penang for about 5 days or so. After that, a train adventure (yay, more trains!) from the mainland area near Penang down to Seremban is in order — Seremban being where Pat’s extended family can be found. At this point it becomes hazy. I know we have time to kill there, as well as in Malaka and Kuala Lumpur. Eating piles of Malaysian food can be added to the daily list of things to do.

May 20 – Leave Kuala Lumpur
May 21 – Arrive Sydney

At this point, we will be home for a week before we set out on May 28th for the USA! I think I’m actually more excited about that trip than Malaysia because it has been so long now. Itinerary in another post perhaps!

Sounds amazeballs! You’ve gotta find out first hand if they serve Milo with meals as standard over there 😉

Funny story — I think they do! 😉 I’ve heard Milo pre-made canned drinks are popular.
