Day 179: Let’s Go to Australia!

I know that most of you can’t just buy a ticket and come and join me in the land Down Under. I’d love it if you could come and visit, but in the meantime, I’ll just take you to Australia with me by giving you some of the best recent writing on WhyGo Australia, the other main site I work on:

Sydney Animal Parks: In Search of Native Wildlife in the City
I would easily classify the wildlife as one of the big draws to Australia, but you can’t get up close and personal with it if you’re stuck in the city, right? Wrong! This article shows you where to go to get to seeing the Australian wildlife we know and love right in Sydney city.

Perfect Sunday in St Kilda
Travel to this lovely little Melbourne beach suburb with Christine of C’est Christine. She divulges all the best spots to really get a feel for the place, and all on a Sunday.

Internet in Australia… Good, Bad or Ugly?
In this article, I discuss the ins and outs of the Internet in Australia, something that can be confusing and frustrating for those coming from overseas. If you’re planning on traveling Oz, you’ll want to read this to prepare for the possible nightmare ahead.

Australian Beers by State
Beer lovers will definitely want to read this to get familiar with the local brews around the country.

Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef in Photos
Ok, this is an old post, but since it is technically winter in Australia, you’ll want to head north and check out the Great Barrier Reef. This post should get you excited!

Just so you all know, I do accept guest posts on WhyGo Australia. If you have a good Australia story to share, get in touch at australia at whygo dot com.

Though the beer and snorkeling would be what I would want to read first I think the internet it the must. I live and die by the internet and cellphone. Thanks for the list of resources to check out.
