Think about it. If you are traveling, you will want rtw travel insurance. You may think you are invincible, but if you end up in a car accident, or worse, in some foreign land without any coverage – it might take the funds out of your travel wallet, and then some.
Here is a post that might help you see the reasons why I choose to travel with travel insurance.
I chose World Nomads, and here is why:
You can buy, extend and claim online even after you’ve left home.
Recommended by Lonely Planet, World Nomads travel insurance is available to people from over 150 countries and is designed for adventurous travellers with cover for overseas medical, evacuation, baggage and activities such as skiing and snowboarding.

Now, purchase your World Nomads Travel Insurance and I will donate 5% of the price to Footprints. Use promo code BWFP05.

If i buy world nomad insurance through your blog here do you get a cut back? i have been thinking of buying through them… and id love to fund you a bit if thats how this works
Hey Taylor -
Yes, I get a small cut, but half of my cut is immediately donated to the footprints program. So, by using my code, you not only get travel insurance, but you help me AND the less fortunate. Not bad, eh?
Hi Brooke! Quick question: My boyfriend and I are leaving for a RTW trip at the end of September but still need to pick an insurance. We were thinking World Nomads, but the fine print says we must have proof of a return ticket when we make claims. How does that work if we’re just booking one-way flights throughout the trip and don’t have a return ticket?
Thanks!
Hi Archana,
As I don’t want to give false information, I’d suggest contacting World Nomads for exact info. Head to their Facebook page and leave your questions, and I’m sure someone will respond asap! https://www.facebook.com/worldnomads
