Holy crap! Can this be true? Someone pinch me!
It’s already been one full month of 2011, and I’ve actually managed to follow through on my one photo and one blog post a day project. Huzzah!
What can I say now looking back?
Well, it’s been a process and a chore, but a fun and interesting one. Remember when I… Read more

Day 30: It’s Like Groupon For Travel Tours
I feel ripe for adventure. Anyone else feel that way? I know I’ve said it before on this blog where I can only go so long without doing something exciting before my internal travel clock… Read more starts ticking away again. Instead of ticking now, it’s more like the heart under the wooden floor that starts to haunt me, louder and louder
Day 29: Watching a Movie Abroad… With No Subtitles
About a week into my Russian lessons, I was talked into seeing a movie at the Vefa Center… in Russian… with someone who could understand Russian… while I couldn’t. Oh yes, and it was an English movie that was dubbed over (by the one male voice that seemed to do all the Russian voice overs), and it had no subtitles.… Read more

Day 28: I Appreciate My Space & Privacy

Day 26: When Hot Weather Affects Your Travel Plans
I’m a total wuss when it comes to hot and cold. When it’s cold, I hate life, and when it’s hot, I’m a sweaty mess (see photo to the right). It’s Australia Day in Oz, and the heat decided to come at us in full force. Instead of coffee… Read more, Pat, our flatmate and I went to get milkshakes in
Day 25: 25 Little, Travel Related Things That Make Me Happy
Saying that I’m having trouble focusing today is a bit of an understatement. Whether it has anything to do with yesterday’s post… Read more is not clear; it could be the impending holiday approaching (tomorrow is Australia Day down under). With that in mind, today is a day to keep it simple.
I present to you, 25 travel related things that make

Day 24: A Confession… Why I Can’t Scuba Dive
I sat at the doctor’s office today, surrounded by coughing sick people, for almost an hour until it was my turn. Everything went smoothly, quickly, and just how it was hoped. I’m about to be a free woman, in a big way, and I’m excited to see where the future takes me… perhaps under water?… Read more

Day 23: The Things You Can See at Bondi
Oh, glorious day. The sun was super bright today in Sydney, so Pat & I took it upon ourselves to do the Bondi to Bronte seaside walk… Read more. Excellent choice! We were met with clear skies, beautiful waters and a cool breeze during the 2.5 km (or is it 3.5 km?) walk each way. I’ll be writing a detailed account

Day 22: Testing Fate in Australia

If history repeats itself, I’m in trouble.
There seems to be an ongoing trend that if I buy a guitar because I think I’m going be living somewhere for a while, I actually end
